This place is not just like New Orleans it is New Orleans. You will not find a more authentic New Orleans place outside of New Orleans. We had the Crawfish touffe and WOW was this stuff good, it was loaded with crawfish. The Shrimp poboy was overflowing with shrimp. I was born and raised in New Orleans and the food is dead on. We ended with some coffee and beignets and having just been home these beignets were better than Cafe du Monde. The coffee was the best I've ever had, Mmmm Chicory coffee.

The food is sadly microwaveable meals brought out cold in the middle, the prices are very high...bowl of gumbo $10 and coffee from a thermos almost $4, beignets are nothing like Cafe Du Monde...hard and dark brown and service is terrible. The waitress was busy on the phone, can't disturb her! Food reminents were on the ground being stepped on, shrimp bags were there too. Save your money and go spend it elsewhere. Also, the owner walks around and sweet-talks the ladies, as if that is going to help bring business back! When he should be paying more attention to the quality of food he is putting out, he is too busy giving out his telephone number to women. I hope people pass up this place for a good upscale dinner elsewhere. I paid too much here....for poor quality....never again! I will tell all my friends to save their time and money.
The owner tries to boast about providing New Orleans quality food, what a joke!
I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Food is microwaved, so it is not unusual to receive it at the table cold in the middle. The beignets are very crusty and brown, absolutely nothing like Cafe Du Monde. The menu pricelist is expensive. Service stinks. Coffee is cold from a thermos made earlier, weak, pricey. Po Boys are around $15, small bowl of Gumbo $10, cup of coffee $3.85! Stay away....take my advice.

I have been to NOLA cafe for beignets before and they were pretty good. We decided to try some of the food for lunch and placed an order for take out. We ordered the bowl of Gumbo for $9, 1 Shrimp Po Boy for $12 and 3 Beignets for $2.85. These prices were extremely steep for the quantitiy (very small) and quality. The gumbo was nothing but very dry (reheated)rice with tomatoes, hardly any sausage and the Po Boy was a few fried shrimp, pieces of lettuce and a slath of mayo. I could have and did make better at home at a fraction of the cost. I will not be ordering food from there again as my lesson learned.

My wife and I heard of this place and said we must try it, well we did and it was a total disappointment, The employees were rude, we sat at a table for 20 minute waiting for service, no one came , so we went to the counter to place an order. On observance behind the counter there was food on the floor that had been stepped on for possibly days since it was only 9AM. The cook was sneezing and coughing in the back wearing no gloves or washing his hands. The coffee machine did not look like it had ever been cleaned. Finally someone came to the counter from the office saying he would come when he could, all in all we spent about a half hour and got nothing and come to think of it we were glad after seeing the mess behind the counter and the sick cook
